The 24V COB Flexible Strip Lights provide a straightforward and
budget-friendly solution for a variety of task lighting needs. The
high-density LEDs are encased in epoxy, ensuring seamless light
uniformity. With a greater number of LED diodes, these strips
deliver strong light intensity while remaining efficient. Offered in
12M reels or in bulk strips, these versatile lights can be easily cut
and connected using the iDea Series Screw Terminal Solderless
Connector, making DIY installation a breeze. Energy-efficient, long-
lasting, and dimmable with compatible systems.

Can I use a magnetic driver/transformer to power these lights?

High-density COB lighting is not compatible with dimmable magnetic drivers/transformers. You must use a constant voltage driver like the EMCOD 5-in-1 Universal driver or the Magnitude LinDrive.

My COB LED lighting is very hot, is this normal?

COB LED lighting is a high-density LED strip with an epoxy coating, higher temps are expected.

If temps are exceeding 130°F you need to check the power supply/ driver/ transformer powering the COB LED strips. COB strips are NOT compatible with magnetic drivers/transformers. Using them will cause extreme heat from the COB strips.
