Are the Inspired LED kits easy to install?
Our kits come with everything you need to install in minutes, including the light strips with double backed adhesive, cables, power supply(s), switch(es), cable clamps, and optional screws.  Our system is modular, and accessories are interchangeable. All components and accessories can be purchased separately on in a kit.  You can add on to your kit at anytime by purchasing additional components.

How long will the LEDs last?
The manufacturers of the LEDs indicate that life span of the lights is over 100,000 hours (more than 10 years).  We have not had any failures of LEDs to date!

Do you have LEDs in colors?
We currently have cool white, warm white, blue, green, and red LEDs. We also have some RGB flex strip lighting!

What are the dimensions of the Inspired LED panels
Our light 9 LED panels are 10.5” x 0.70” x .38”, and weigh 0.8 oz each.
Our 21 LED panels are 8.75” x .050” x 0.30”, and weigh 0.4 oz each.
Our 42 LED panels are 16.75” x 0.50” x 0.30” and weigh 0.7 oz each.
Our 10” designer series panels are 10” x 0.87” x 0.75” and weigh 1.1 oz each.
Our 18” designer series panels are 18” x 0.87” x 0.75” and weigh 1.9 oz each.
Our flex strips are ½” wide x (custom lengths to your spec).

How do I know how many light panels I will need?
Depending on how much light you desire, you may only need one 8-1/2”-18” light panel for each 24” – 36” cabinet. Some clients connect them end to end, and sometimes in multiple parallel rows, depending on desired effect and brightness. Your lighting system can be easily expanded by ordering additional pieces from Inspired LED, or one of our distributors. All components and accessories are sold separately as well as in kits for easy expansion.

How many panels can I link together?
You can install up to ten 9 LED panels, up to eight 21 LED panels, four 42 LED panels,  200” of bright LED strips, or 100” of our super bright LED strips using our 12v, 1amp power supplies. We also carry 2 amp and 4 amp power supplies for use with your larger systems.

What if I need different cables lengths between light panels?
Our kits come standard with 3’ cables (super deluxe kits also have one 6’ and one 12’ cable). We also sell cables in 4”, 1’, 2’, 4’, 6’, and 12’ lengths, and 4” cable connectors to make longer cable length combinations. We can also make customer lengths to your specifications ($10-$15 each).

Can I link multiple flex strips together also?
Yes! Our flex strips are cut to your specifications, and come to you with connectors on both sides to expand your kits for your custom application. Flex strips can be purchased individually, and interconnect with our cables,  powersupplies, switches, and dimmers.

How long will it take to get my order?
We normally ship all orders within 1-2 business days, via priority mail to locations in the US and Canada. The USPS estimates 2-3 days delivery to destinations in the continental US, and 7-12 days to Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, and Canada.

Do you ship outside the US or Canada?
We currently do not ship outside the US or Canada. Our worldwide distributor, mouser.com stocks much of our product and ships worldwide.

Can these lights be hardwired?
We have a convenience box that easily allows you to convert a hardwire configuration to install our lighting.

We also have Dimmable Transformers, which are hardwired to a low voltage magnetic switch.  You then take the cables that connect to the light strips and hardwire them into the transformer.  You can then dim the lights from a wall switch, using a Luton dimmer (purchased separately from Lowe’s or Home Depot).

Do you have a dimmer switch?
Yes. We have a four-position dimmer that is compatible with all Inspired LED products.

We also have Dimmable Transformers that are hardwired to a low voltage magnetic dimmer switch.  Then hardwire the cables that connect to the light strips into the transformer.  You then can dim from your wall switch.
You cannot dim our LED lights on a wall switch without a magnetic Dimmable Transformer.

I have a shelve book case. Can you suggest a way to install lights on bookcase shelves?
Yes, by drilling small holes to the rear of each shelf, mounting one light panel at the top of each level, and linking all units to a distribution block, along with our power supply and switch to control all the panels connected directly or indirectly to the distribution block.

If I order a kit and decide I need more lighting panels, is it easy to add them on later?
Absolutely! Our product line is fully modular, with accessories easy to add on to any system at any time.

What is your return policy?
